A 4-minute song project following "Thousand New Wave" in April 2018 and "Whole a Lotta New Wave" in May 2021. On the contrary, it was a big constraint for me, who usually makes 2 minutes, 6-7 minutes, 8-9 minutes or more, and I have been enthusiastically working on it since my first participation.

When I learned that recruitment had started again this time, I thought I would do my best, but on the other hand, it was also the time when I started making the albums that I do every year, so I wanted to make a clear distinction between each production. As I began to compose the first song while thinking about it vaguely, I eventually came up with an idea that took advantage of the rule of "up to 4 minutes per song, up to 3 songs per person". It is a series.

Even though it's a series, rather than one song out of three, in my case it's a DJ mix, and I'm envisioning a way to connect each song and enjoy the flow. In fact, the first half of the 2nd and 3rd songs were created by adding sound from the end of the previous song.

However, although I started working on the theme of DJmix parts, if I put that on the front, it would become "one song with three parts and 11 minutes", and the impression of each song would fade. So, with the intention of saying "3 songs that just happen to match in this mix", I tried my best to finish it so that you can enjoy it even if it's a single song. (For that purpose, the title of each song is independent)


"Awakening Light", as I mentioned earlier, came up with the idea for this song at the stage of making this song, so it's a relatively usual song, and it might have ended with just this song. The BPM of 124.6 is the result of adjusting the inorganic sound of the synth that is playing from the beginning to match the rhythm, and the subsequent songs are also adjusted to this.

"Judgment Time" was added in the first half of the song as if connecting from the previous song. . Among the three songs, I was conscious of the strength that was close to the excitement.

"Unconscious Mind" is my own techno pop, using artificial voices made with text-to-speech software. In the previous song "Whole a Lotta New Wave", I left the point that I wanted to do techno pop if I had time, but I didn't try to realize it, but in the end it did. I didn't have the idea to sing it myself, so there are parts that are appropriate, but I wanted to make it meaningful for people who understand English, so it took me a while to decide on the content. After all, I quoted from the article of the English wiki with a psychological element as a motif. The title is "Unconscious".


If there is a next project, it will probably be in 2-3 years, and it will depend on the situation at that time, but I feel like I have a complete set of simple techno here, so what will I do at that time? If you are hesitant, I would like to propose electronica with a messy rhythm that is not simple techno. Of course, the schedule is undecided.
